Remedy eLearning

Knowledge Competency Matters

In medical practices today, physicians and other leaders often find themselves performing work that others could be handling independently.

Teamwork proficiency and clinical knowledge competency are vital to the success of the modern, patient-focused care team.

The cloud based Remedy eLearning learning management system is designed to:

  • Optimize the clinical knowledge competencies essential to delivering high quality and efficient team-based care
  • Solve the knowledge competency gap in an efficient and affordable way

Each self-paced learning curriculum provides job-specific and situational instruction with competency evaluation for the specific role of that care team member. For additional information, click on the blue underlined hyperlinks throughout this page.

Current Curricula and Learning Objectives:

Unlicensed clinical staff have complementary roles and often lack the knowledge necessary to function competently in today's high-performing medical teams. This curriculum assesses current knowledge competency, teaches key concepts through reinforcement and tests application using real life scenarios-dramatically increasing the capabilities of your staff.

Many healthcare supervisors are promoted because of their competence in their field of expertise.  To take on supervisory roles, they need to stretch beyond their current expertise to learn regulatory requirements, time management, staff management, quality improvement, financial management and how to coordinate the work of their team. Whether the supervisor is seasoned or new, this curriculum provides a consistent, baseline education to maximize performance.

Both new and experienced clinical staff often need refresher courses to renew their knowledge and stay attuned to changes in health care delivery. This curriculum highlights common chronic disease care, prevention, infection control, care coordination, team-based care, patient centered care, and quality improvement with reinforced disease information and application to real life scenarios. Additional modules are planned.

  • Care Manager - including care coordinator or case manager

This module assists both experienced and new care managers in understanding of this new role with medical offices.  The curriculum provides an overview of care management, population health, care coordination, and chronic disease care.  In addition, care plans are explored.  The practical approach will assist nurses to operationalize this new role.

Often front office staff are the first to meet and greet patients within a medical office.  Having knowledgeable and patient-centered staff allows for better customer service and more satisfied patients.  In addition, front office staff can take on other responsibilities if they understand basic concepts of chronic disease, care coordination or medical terminology.  Updating the knowledge level of front office staff can pay dividends.

Curricula in Development:
